In class we have been learning how to write instructions.  As a class we wrote instructions on how to clean your teeth.  Then we wrote our own instructions on how to make a jam sandwich. 

 

The success criteria for writing instructions are:

Today we made our sandwiches following our own instructions.  I thought about my instructions as I made my sandwich and if I needed to make changes I did these in red.

I believe I have very good instructions now and invite you to use them to make your own sandwich!

 

WALT: How to make a jam sandwich

Bread     knife     spread     jam    teaspoon    margarine     jar     chopping board     butter      cut     squares          

 

You need

Knife, bread, butter, jam

 

  1. Spread 1 teaspoon butter with a knife n the bread.
  2. Spread 1 teaspoon of jam on the bread.
  3. Cut the bread into squares.
  4. Eat.
